It was Norman Lamont at the Conservative Party Conference of 1991 that said “The green shoots of economic spring are appearing once again.”

His ‘green shoots of recovery’ are all over current economic analysis. Unfortunately, they are not quite visible yet.

However, let’s keep the way clear for growth, and position your business to maximise sales when the ‘shoots’ do start to pop up. Make way for the green shoots of Digital Marketing!

Tip of the day: If your business has an online shopping cart, don’t make your customer queue while the checkout fills with other offers and unnecessary distractions. Don’t make them wait, get them checked out as quickly as possible – they’re more likely to come back! Do this by keeping your checkout process straightforward, clear and simple. Now is not the time to make your customer fill out unnecessary information which delays the whole process and frustrates users. Remember, once they’ve decided to proceed to check out, they want to action that purchase as quickly as possible.

Refer to our partner Payment Gateway for details on how to add card payments to your online store.
